What Is a Public of Uttarakhand Membership?

A Public of Uttarakhand Membership gives you access to our member submission tools, so you can post your own news tips, civic reports, and community stories for editorial review and possible publication on the portal. Membership is optional — anyone can read the news on Public of Uttarakhand for free. A paid Membership is only required if you want to submit and publish content under your own name.

Pricing

GST and other applicable statutory levies, if any, are charged in addition to the listed price. Billed automatically every month on a recurring subscription basis until you cancel.

• Direct communication with our editorial team for corrections or follow-ups

What Membership Does Not Include

• Membership does not guarantee that any submission will be published — all content is subject to editorial review under our Content Policy.
• Membership does not confer any press credential, official recognition, or affiliation with any government body — Public of Uttarakhand is a private platform.
• Membership does not transfer any ownership, exclusivity, or equity in the Platform.

Billing, Cancellation & Refunds

• Billing cycle: ₹100 per month, charged automatically to your saved payment method (card / UPI Autopay / e-mandate) on each monthly renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your Membership at any time from your account dashboard or by writing to us. Cancellation stops future renewal charges from your next billing date; you keep member access for the remainder of the period you've already paid for.
• No refunds: Amounts already paid are non-refundable, including if you cancel mid-cycle, do not submit any content, or your submissions are not approved for publication. This is disclosed here and at checkout, before you pay, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
